Lenore S Fingers are a band from Italy that plays a gothic form of doom metal and this is a review of their 2014 album "Inner Tales" which will be released by My Kingdom Music.
The album starts out with synths and nature sounds and when it goes pass the intro acoustic guitars are brought onto the album along with clean singing female vocals, drums and bass guitar which also sets up the mood for melodic guitar leads before adding in a heavier direction.
As the album continues it sticks to a more modern gothic metal direction while also being influenced by the 90's pioneers of this genre as well as bringing in male vocals and you can prog elements coming out of the acoustic guitars and synths which also brings in symphonic sounds at times and on some songs you can hear a breath use of whispers.
With this album Lenore S. Fingers combine the early 90's gothic metal sound with the more modern variation of this genre along with element s of prog to create an album that is very dark, melancholic and melodic sounding.
Song lyrics cover dark, depressive and mythology themes, while the production has a very strong, powerful, heavy and professional sound where you can hear all of the musical instruments that are present on this recording.
In my opinion Lenore S Fingers are a very great sounding dark gothic metal b and and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Inner Eyes" "Cry of Mankind" "Song To Eros" and "The Calling tree". 8 out of 10.
