Dope Out are a band from France that plays a mixture of metal, classic rock, punk and grunge and this is a review of their self released 2013 album "Bad Seeds".
The album starts out with a heavy hard rock/metal sound along with all of the musical instruments having a very powerful sound to them along with some vocals a few seconds alter before adding in punk and alternative influences and you can also hear a great amount of melody in the music.
When the album progresses you can hear a good amount traces of blues and classic rock being added into the music and at time s they also bring in some fast upbeat songs along with a mixture of clean and heavy parts as well as a small amount of female vocals being utilized on one song and the last song is a power ballad.
With this album Dope out combine some of the heavier elements of metal, punk, grunge and hard rock while also having a sound that would be a suitable fit for the mainstream rock stations and there is plenty of energy present in their music.
Song lyrics cover everyday themes, while the production has a very strong, powerful, heavy and professional sound for being a self released recording where you can hear all of the musical instruments that are present on this recording.
In my opinion Dope Out are a very great sounding mixture of metal, punk, grunge and hard rock and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Death Before" "Blessed Revenge" "Bad Seed" and "Die Alone". 8 out of 10.
