Putrid Blood are a band from Serbia that has had their previous demo reviewed in this zine with a musical style on this album I would describe as being old school thrash metal with some hardcore and black metal influences and this is a review of their 2012 album "Absolute Profit" which was released by Miner Records.
Drums range from slow, mid paced to fast drumming with some blast beats being utilized at times, while the bass playing has a very dark tone with riffs that follow the riffing that are coming out of the guitars.
Rhythm guitars range from slow, mid paced to fast old school thrash metal riffs that are very heavy and aggressive sounding with some hardcore and black metal influences as well as some melody being thrown into the riffing at times, while the lead guitars are very old school sounding thrash metal guitar solos and leads that utilize some melody at times, as for the classical guitars they are only used briefly and they use finger picking to add some darkness to the music.
Vocals are mostly aggressive sounding thrash metal vocals with some hardcore elements, growls, and screams, while the lyrics cover dark themes with the songs being written in a mixture of Serbian and English, as for the production it h as a very strong, powerful, heavy and professional sound to it.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Putrid Blood and if you are a fan of heavy and aggressive thrash metal, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Vulture" "For God's Sake" "Re-Animator" and "Prey". RECOMMENDED BUY.
