Nude are a band from Italy that mixes gothic metal with Mew Wave and Indie Rock and this is a review of their 2013 album "Plastic Planet" which was released by My Kingdom Music.
Drum programming ranges from slow to mid paced bets, while the synths bring in elements of synth pop, indie, dark wave and goth elements to the music, as for the bass playing it has a very dark tone with riffs that follow the riffing that are coming out of the guitars and at times they have a very powerful sound to them.
Rhythm guitars range from slow to mid paced riffs that combine gothic metal, rock, new wave and indie together as well as a great amount of melody being thrown into riffing with some soft and clean playing, while the lead guitars are very melodic sounding gothic rock guitar solos and leads.
Vocals are all clean singing gothic rock vocals, while the lyrics cover dark and depressing themes, as for the production it has a very strong, powerful and professional sound to it where you can hear all of the musical instruments that are present on this recording.
In my opinion Nude are a very great sounding hybrid of New Wave, Indie Rock and Gothic Metal and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Shining Stardust" "Neon Smile" "Diesel" and "Once Upon A Time". RECOMMENDED BUY.
