DemonAuta are a band from Chile that plays a desert style of stoner rock and this is a review of their 2017 album "Tierra Del Fuego" which was released by Kozmik Artifactz.
A very distorted and fuzzy sound starts off the album along with some drum beats and powerful sounding bass guitars and after awhile clean stoner style vocals are added onto the recording while the music also mixes in elements of 70's metal/rock in with a more modern musical style.
Touches of doom metal can also be heard at times while the solos and leads stick to a very retro rock and proto metal style along with clean playing and psychedelic elements also being utilized at times and they also add in influences from the 90's to modern times along with a couple of the tracks being instrumentals and as the album progresses clean playing can also be heard in certain sections of the recording as well as some of the tracks being very long and epic in length.
DemonAuta plays a style of stoner rock that adds in more of a desert and psychedelic atmosphere, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics are written in a mixture of Spanish and English and cover metaphysical themes.
In my opinion DemonAuta are a very great sounding desert style stoner rock band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Into The Darkness" "Astro II" and "Psiconauta". 8 out of 10.
