Red Spektor are a band from t he United Kingdom that plays a mixture of psychedelic, blues and stoner rock and this is a review of their self titled 2016 album which was released by Kozmik Artifactz.
Drones start off the album along with soem drum beats a few seconds later as well as some psychedelic style guitar leads and after awhile melodic vocals are added onto the recording and all of the music instruments have a very powerful sound to them and the music also mixes in a great amount of 70's proto metal elements.
While the music is heavily rooted in the past it still sounds very modern and there are also a lot of blues rock elements present throughout the recording and on later tracks stoner rock elements along with a touch of doom metal are added onto the recording and all of the songs also stick to a very slow musical direction and on the bonus track steel acoustic guitars are added onto the recording.
Red Spektor plays a musical style t hat takes psychedelic, blues, and stoner rock and mixes it in with a touch of doom metal to create a style of their own, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover Paganism, Occultism, and Dark themes.
In my opinion Red Spektor are a very great sounding mixture of blues, psychedelic and stoner rock and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Pagan Queen" "Elixir" "Fields Of Fire" and "Lost Soul". 8 out of 10.
