Endless Recovery are a band from Greece that has been featured before in this zine and plays a very aggressive and brutal form of thrash metal and this is a review of their 2015 album "Revel In Demise" which was released by Witches Brew.
A very melodic guitar sound starts off the album and also mixes in with the heavier riffing a few seconds later and after the intro t he music speeds up and goes into a very old school thrash metal direction that also uses a decent amount of blast beats along with some aggressive screaming style vocals.
A lot of German thrash metal influences can be heard in the music along with a slight death metal edge as well as a great amount of back up gang shouts and the music is very heavily rooted in the 80's and the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and the solos and leads also remain true to an old school metal direction while you can also hear all of the musical instruments that are present on the recording and there is also a brief use of bass guitar leads and some songs also bring in a small amount of melodic screams and the whole album also remains very heavy from beginning to ending of the recording.
Endless Recovery creates another album that remains true to the very aggressive and brutal old school thrash metal style of previous recordings, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover death, occultism and social issues.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Endless Recovery and if you are a fan of aggressive and brutal old school thrash metal, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Revel In Demise" "Leather Militia" "Blood Countess" and "Lurking Evil". 8 out of 10.
