Acidity are a band from Italy that plays an old school form of thrash metal and this is a review of their 2014 album "Into The Lies" which was released by Nightbreaker Productions.
Horror movie samples start off the album along with some 80's music samples before going into a heavier thrash metal direction and all of the musical instruments have a very powerful sound to them and after awhile aggressive yet melodic vocals are added onto the recording along with a great amount of back up gang shouts.
Melodies can be heard quite a bit throughout the recording while the songs also sound like they could of easily been recorded and released in the mid 80's and the vocals also bring in a touch of power metal at time s while the solos and leads are also very melodic and remain true to an old school style of extreme metal and the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and there is also a brief use of clean playing on a couple of the tracks while a later song is all instrumental and the remainder of the songs bring in vocals.
Acidity plays a style of thrash metal that is very heavy, aggressive and old school in the mid 80's tradition while also being very melodic at the same time, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover society and monsters themes.
In my opinion Acidity are a very great sounding old school style thrash metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Into the Lies...They Where Denied" "To the Night (Breaker)" "Conjuring Death" and "Spreading Terror". 8 out of 10.
