Furyon are a band from the United Kingdom that plays a mixture of melodic heavy metal and hard rock and this is a review of their 2015 album "Lost Salvation" which will be released on January 26th by Dream Records.
A very modern and melodic hard rock sound starts off the album along with all of the musical instruments having a powerful sound to them as well as some clean singing vocals and the band also brings in more of an 80's mainstream metal influence in their musical style and mixing it in with the more modern style of hard rock.
When solos and leads are utilized they are in a melodic direction of both hard rock and heavy metal and some of the songs also add in small amounts of clean playing into certain sections of the recording and there are also a few tracks that are long and epic in length and as the album progresses elements of alternative can be heard being mixed in with a commercialized style of heavy metal and unlike most bands of this genre they avoid doing power ballads and focus more on a hard and heavy sound.
Furyon plays a style of hard rock and heavy metal that has its roots in the 80's sound but also mixes in mainstream rock influences from the 90's to the modern day to create more of an update take on this musical genre, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover real life themes with a dark touch.
In my opinion Furyon are a very great sounding mixture of melodic heavy metal and hard rock and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "All That I Have" "Scapegoat" "Good Sky" and "Wiseman". 8 out of 10.
