Bestial Invasion are a band from Germany that plays a very old school and technical form of thrash metal and this is a review of their 2014 ep "Silent Waters" which was released by Archaic Sounds.
A very powerful sounding bass guitar starts off the ep along with some technical riffs and solos as well as some aggressive female vocals which can also be very melodic at times and the music is heavily rooted in the mid 80's style of thrash metal and also brings in a good mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts throughout the song.
The second song which is also a cover of Morbid Saint's "Damien" starts out with a very raw and aggressive thrash sound along with leads being added into some parts of the song and the vocals on this track are a lot more aggressive on this track while they still have a very melodic edge to them.
Bestial Invasion plays a style of thrash that is very raw, old school and technical as well as having a very vintage 80's sound to them, the production sounds very raw, old school yet professional all at the same time while the lyrics cover dark themes.
In my opinion Bestial invasion are a very great sounding technical old school thrash metal band and if are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this ep. RECOMMENDED TRACK "Silent Wonders". 8 out of 10.
