SnakeeyeS are a band from 2015 that plays a very heavy style of power metal and this is a review of their 2015 album "Ultimate Sin".
A very hard and heavy sound starts off the album along with some melodic vocals that dominates throughout the recording and the vocals are all in a clean singing yet high pitched power metal direction and the music has its roots in t he 80's but done with a more up to date and heavier sound than what was presented back then.
You can hear a touch of speed metal in the faster sections of the bands musical style while some of the riffs bring in more of a traditional metal sound and you can also hear all of the musical instruments that are present on this recording and the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and as the album progresses clean playing can be heard in certain sections of the recording while some of the riffs have almost a thrash and groove metal feeling to them when they go into a heavier direction.
SnakeeyeS plays a style that has its roots in 80's heavy and power metal but done with a more heavy and modern style, the production sound s very professional for being a self released recording while the lyrics cover dark themes.
In my opinion SnakeeyeS are a very great sounding power metal metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check our this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Demon In My Mind" "Black And White" "Ultimate Sin" and "The Cross is A Lie". 8 out of 10.
