Keretta are a band from New Zealand that plays a mixture of instrumental rock and post metal and this is a review of their 2014 single "His Streets of Honey, her Mouth Of GOld" which was released by Golden Antenna Records.
The single starts out with powerful sounding bass guitars and an atmospheric background which also leads up to heavy and melodic guitars becoming a part of the music and you can also hear experimental sounds being added into the music at times along with a small amount of melody and leads.
Keretta take a very experimental form of instrumental rock and add in the melody and heaviness of post metal to create a sound of their own on these 2 tracks that are displayed on here and the last track is a radio edit of the first song.
Song lyrics are all absent form this recording with the music being all instrumental, while the production has a very strong, powerful, heavy and professional sound where you can hear all of the musical instruments that are present on this recording.
In my opinion Keretta are a very decent sounding mixture of instrumental rock and post metal and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. 7/5 out of 10.
