Fatal Impact are a band from Norway that plays a mixture of heavy and power metal and this is a review of their 2013 album "Esoteria" which was released by Nadir Music.
Drums range from slow to mid paced playing with no fast drumming or blast beats being present on this recording, while the synths bring a very atmospheric, symphonic and progressive sound to the recording, as for the bass playing it has a very strong and powerful sound with heavy riffing t hat dominates throughout the recording.
Rhythm guitars range from slow to mid paced riffs that combine heavy and power metal together to create a sound of their own while adding a modern touch to those music genres while adding in a good amount of melody in the riffing as well as a brief use of soft and clean playing, while the lead guitars are very melodic sounding heavy/power metal guitar solos and leads, as for the acoustic guitars when they are utilize use full chords and finger picking to add more progressive touches to the recording.
Vocals are mostly clean singing heavy/power metal vocals with some aggressive sounding screams being utilized on a couple of songs, while the lyrics cover conspiracy theories and esoteric themes, as for the production it has a very strong, powerful, heavy and professional sound to it where you can hear all of the musical instruments that are present on this recording with some of t he songs being long and epic in length.
In my opinion Fatal Impact are a very great sounding modern day hybrid of heavy and power metal and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "A New Era" "Silent December" "The Arrival" and "A View To Hell". RECOMMENDED BUY.
