The Company Corvette are a band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania that plays a psychedelic mixture of stoner rock and doom metal and this is a review of their 2016 album "Never Enough" which will be released in August by The Company Records.
Psychedelic sounds and bass guitar leads start off the album along with some elements of doom metal and after awhile clean singing is added onto the recording and you can also hear a lot of influences from the 70's to the 90's in the bands musical style while also sounding very modern at the same time.
Melodic guitar leads can be heard quite a bit throughout the recording while the riffs also use a great amount of melody along with the songs also bringing in a great mixture of both slow and mid paced parts and the vocals also bring in a small amount of aggression at times and as the album progresses more blues and stoner rock elements are added onto the recording and a couple of the tracks are very long and epic in length.
The Company Corvette plays a musical style that takes 70's psychedelic and modern stoner rock and mixes it in with the heaviness of doom metal to create a style of their own, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover dark and real life themes.
In my opinion The Company Corvette are a very great sounding psychedelic mixture of stoner rock and doom metal and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Devilwitch" "Stomach" and "Pigeon". 8 out of 10.
