Blut are a band from Italy that plays a mixture of experimental and industrial metal and this is a review of their 2017 album "Inside My Head Part II" which was released by Sliptrick Records.
A very heavy and melodic sound along with some synths start off the album along with some aggressive vocals a few seconds later which also has a touch of melody and after awhile female vocals make their presence known on the recording and the solos and leads are done in a melodic fashion.
All of the musical instruments on the recording have a very powerful sound to them and one track also adds Asian style folk musical instruments onto the recording and the music also gets very symphonic at times and some songs also add in elements of prog and one track also adds in a small amount of spoken word parts while one song is all instrumental and there is also a great amount of diversity present throughout the recording. while also adding in more industrial touches.
Blut plays a musical style that takes extreme metal, industrial and experimental music and mixes them together to create something very original, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover dark and philosophical themes.
In my opinion Blut are a very great sounding mixture of experimental and industrial metal and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDD TRACKS INCLUDE "Double Trouble" "Jerusalem Calls Me" "Wind Ego" and "Ekbomb". 8 out of 10.
