This is a review of another recording from mumble(speak) which shows him continuing his dark ambient sound with the album being self released in 2014 and called "Real And Imagined Scenarios".
Dark sounding drones and experimental sounds start off the album which leads up to more of an ambient direction along with a great amount of soundscapes and on the second track the music starts getting more powerful and louder on the synths while also being very atmospheric all at the same time.
A few of the tracks are long and epic in length and at times you can also hear a small amount of voices being utilized in the background as well as a brief use of spoken word samples and as the album progresses acoustic guitars can be heard on a couple of the tracks which also add more diversity to the recording.along with some programmed beats, rain/thunder sounds and radio noises being added onto some of the later songs.
mumble(speak) creates another very interesting album this time around with the music continuing the dark ambient approach of the newer material while also adding new styles to his musical sound along with most of the album being instrumental and the production has a very dark sounding feeling to it.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from mumble(speak) and if you are a fan of dark ambient, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Fret" "Interland" "Entropic Flush" and "Departure". 8 out of 10.
