Harmorage are a band from France that plays a mixture of heavy and thrash metal and this is a review of their self released 2015 album "Psychico Control".
Sound effects start off the album and a few seconds alter the music goes for a sound that mixes 80's thrash and heavy metal together along with some vocals that are very aggressive and all of the musical instruments have a very powerful sound to them and the solos and leads also remain true to an old school metal direction.
At time s the vocals have an aggression that is very close to hardcore punk and you can hear a variety of influences from many different 80's and 90's metal styles throughout the recording and you can also hear a touch of hard rock in the band s musical style and as the album progresses spoken word parts can be heard in certain sections of the recording and some of the tracks also bring in a small amount of clean playing.
Harmorage plays a style of thrash that they mix with hardcore and 90's hard rock to create a sound of their own, the production sound s very professional while the lyrics are written in French and cover real life themes.
In my opinion Harmprage are a very great sounding mixture of heavy and thrash metal and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Reveillions Nous!" "Scarifies" "Images du Monde" and "Drit it Fier". 8 out of 10.
