Deathwish are a band from Wisconsin that plays a mixture of hardcore and punk and this is a review of their 2015 album "Out For blood" which will be released on April 18th by Beer City, Skateboards And Records.
A very hard and heavy sound starts off the album along with some melodic guitar leads which leads up to a very fast hardcore punk direction along with some aggressive screaming vocals and the music is very heavily rooted in the early 80's hardcore punk sound but done with a more up to date touch.
All of the musical instruments on the recording have a very powerful sound to them and the songs also bring in a decent amount of melody and you can also hear an influence of metal in the heavier sections of the music and all of the tracks stick to a hard and heavy musical direction and there is never a soft or weak moment to be hear d on the recording.
Deathwish plays a style of hardcore punk that is very raw, aggressive and heavy sounding, the production sounds very powerful while the lyrics cover violent and hateful themes.
In my opinion Deathwish are a very great sounding hardcore punk band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out t his album> RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Population Zero" "Balance Of Power" "Cold Day In Hell" and "Unholy Bastards". 8 out of 10.
