Pincher are a band from Russia that plays a mixture of metal, thrash, punk and hardcore and this is a review of their self released 2013 album "Killing Machines".
Drums range from slow, mid paced to fast drumming with no blast beats being present on this recording, while the bass playing has a very dark tone with riffs that follow the riffing that are coming out of the guitars and at times they have a very powerful sound.
Rhythm guitars range from slow, mid paced to fast riffs that combine metal, thrash, hardcore and punk together to create a sound of their own, while the lead guitars are all mid 70's to early 80's sounding punk/metal guitars solos and leads.
Vocals range from punk rock style singing to deep growls along with a brief use of spoken word parts, while the lyrics cover social issues, as for the production it has a very strong, powerful and heavy sound for being a self released recording w here you can hear all of the musical instruments that are present on this album.
In my opinion Pincher are a very great sounding hybrid of thrash, metal, hardcore and punk and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Mortal Kombat" "Kill' Em All" and "I Dont Care". RECOMMENDED BUY.
