I Am Noah are a band from Germany that plays a progressive mixture of ambient and metalcore and this is a review of their 2016 album "The Verdict" which was released by Bastardized Recordings.
Ambient drones start off the album before adding in a heavier sound which also introduces melodic guitar leads onto the recording and the music also brings in a great amount of metalcore breakdowns and the riffs also use a great amount of melody and the vocals are mostly aggressive hardcore style screams.
A great amount of blast beats can be heard in the faster sections of the songs while all of the musical instruments have a very powerful sound to them and you can also hear elements of prog metal in the bands musical style and they also mix the ambient elements in with the heavier style and the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and acoustic guitars can also be heard in certain sections of the recording and one track also brings in a brief use of melodic vocals.
I Am Noah plays a musical style that takes metalcore, prog metal and ambient and mixes them together to create a style of their own, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics are a concept album based on a fictional anti hero named Noah.
In my opinion I Am Noah are a very great sounding mixture of ambient and metalcore and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Rise Of Mankind" "If Life Could Be The Answer" "Drowned" and "Conquer The Thrones". 8 out of 10.
