Satanic Malfunctions are a band from the United Kingdom that h as a history that goes back to the 80's with a musical style i would describe as being hardcore/crust punk and this is a review of their 2013 album "Them" which was released by Selfmadegod Records.
"Nothing New" begins with drums and bass guitar riffs which leads up to some hardcore punk style guitar riffs and aggressive shouting vocals and there are some blast beats being utilized towards the end.
'Technological Religion" begins with fast guitar riffs, drums and vocals along with some blast beats.
"Them" begins with some crust punk style guitar riffs and drums which lead up to some powerful bass guitars and vocals which also utilize some background shouts.
''Daze Of The Weak" begins with some fast guitar and bass riffs along with some drums and then t he song slows down for a few seconds and adds in vocals before speeding up which also leads to a brief use of growls.
"No Master or Slaves" begins with some guitar riffs, drums and hardcore punk style vocals.
"On Your Knees" begins with some guitar riffs, and drums which leads up to some vocals and then the music speeds up and starts adding in some blast beats.
"Lies" begins with some heavy guitar riffs and drums before adding in some blast beats and aggressive sounding vocals.
''Gospel Truth" begins with some heavy guitar and bass riffs along with some drums and a few seconds later the vocals start kicking in and bring in some aggressive crust elements.
