Emerged are a band from the Netherlands that plays an instrumental mixture of stoner rock and heavy metal and this is a review of their 2015 album "Letting Go Of Certainties" which will be released in April by Vic Records.
Clean playing starts off the album along with some melodic guitar leads that also bring a heavy progressive rock influence to the bands musical style and the riffs they bring onto the recording are very heavy while also having a decent amount of melody to them and you can also hear a touch of post metal in the bands musical style.
Most of the tracks are very long and epic in length and the songs also bring in a great mixture of both clean and heavy parts and as the album progresses more traditional metal elements are added into the bands musical style and all of the instruments have a very powerful sound to them and all of the songs stick to either a slow or mid paced musical direction.
Emerged plays an instrumental style that combines stoner, and progressive rock with more of a traditional style of metal to create a sound of their own and the production sounds very professional.
In my opinion Emerged are a very great sounding instrumental mixture of stoner, progressive rock and heavy metal and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Don't Speak" and "Emerged". 8 out of 10.
