Deadly Sins are a band from France that plays a very old school form of thrash metal and this is a review of their self released 2014 album "Anticlockwise".
A very aggressive scream starts off the album adding a touch of black metal to t he bands musical style along with some heavy old school thrash riffs that utilize a decent amount of melody and the songs also bring in a decent amount of back up gang shouts and also bring in 80's feeling to the recording.
Throughout the recording there is a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and the solos and leads the band uses also incorporate a great mount of melody and all of the musical instruments have a very powerful sound to them and as the album progresses the vocals start using more of a traditional thrash screaming approach and the whole album sticks to a very heavy sound form beginning to end.
Deadly Sins plays a very heavy style of thrash that is very pure and true to the 80's style of the genre while also being very melodic at the same time, the production sound s very professional for being a self released recording while the lyrics cover dark, violent and thrash metal themes.
In my opinion Deadly Sins are a very great sounding old school thrash metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Thrashing Metal" "Left For Dead" "Shake Off The Gloom" and "Bleeding Moon". 8 out of 10.
