This is a review of another recording from Worselder which continues the stoner and groove metal of their previous recording and the ep was self released in 2014.
Clean desert rock style playing which is also used on some of the other songs as well starts off the ep and after a few minutes electric guitars are introduced into the music and they take the music into more of a melodic and heavy stoner metal direction along with some clean singing vocals and all of the musical instruments having a very powerful sound to them.
Elements of power metal can be heard in the vocals at times while the leads add more melody to the music while the mid paced sections bring in a heavy groove metal influence and the vocals also bring in a more aggressive influence from that genre as well in some parts of the songs and just like the previous recording all of the tracks stick to a slow to mid paced direction.
Worselder continue the stoner and groove metal mixture of previous recordings as well as keeping around a power metal influence and adding a touch of doom metal into the songs this time around, the production sounds very powerful for being a self released recording while the lyrics cover dark themes.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Worselder and if you are a fan of stoner and groove metal, you should check out this ep. RECOMMENDED TRACK "Home Of the Grave". 8 out of 10.
