Messiah's Kiss are a band from Germany that plays a mixture of hard rock and heavy metal and this is a review of their 2014 album "Get Your Bulls Out" which was released by Massacre Records.
A very old school hard rock/heavy metal sound starts off the album along with some melodic vocals and all of the musical instruments having a very powerful sound to them and the music goes for more of an 80's hair metal direction along with clean playing being added into certain sections of the recording.
When solos and leads are added into the music, they continue the 80's hair metal tradition that is a huge part of the bands musical style and all of the songs have a vintage 80's sound that would of been a perfect fit for rock stations and MTV in that era while the production gives the music a more up to date feeling and a good portion of the tracks also bring in back up gang shouts and as the album progresses the music starts adding in more traditional old school elements and towards the end of the recording they add in an acoustic track before closing the recording with a song that returns back to a heavier direction.
Messiah's Kiss plays a very old school style of commercialized hard rock/heavy metal that is heavily rooted in the 80's and also brings in a harder edge at times by incorporating more traditional metal elements to create some hard and heavy music, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover real life themes with a more darker approach.
In my opinion Messiah's Kiss are a very great sounding mixture of heavy metal and hard rock and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Living In Paradise" "Time To Say Goodbye" "Nobody knows your name" and "Buried Alive". 8 out of 10.
