Trainwreck Artchitect are a band from Canada that plays a very melodic form of thrash metal and this is a review of their self released 2013 album "Traits of the Sick".
Classical guitars and a brief intro start off the album and a minute later heavier and more melodic parts are added onto the recording and after the intro the music goes into a more old school metal direction along with the heaviness of thrash and melodic hard rock/metal style vocals and the solos and leads have a very technical thrash feeling to them and the acoustic guitars do return briefly in certain sections of the recording later on.
The tracks on the album all go back to the early to mid 80's and bring in a mixture of thrash, power and hair metal along with some elements of punk and classic hard rock while also having a very melodic sound to them and they bring a different sound to each track as well as bringing in early groove metal elements at times and the vocals stick to mostly a power/thrash direction along with some female vocals on one of the tracks as well as all of the musical instruments doing their part on the album and close to the end of the album you can hear a slight death metal influence.
Trainwreck Artchitect have a very interesting and old school sounding thrash sound that is more melodic and hard rock influenced than most band s of this genre, along with a very professional sounding production and lyrics that cover violence and everyday themes.
In my opinion Trainwreck Artchitect are a very great sounding melodic thrash metal b and and if you are a fan of this musical genres, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "The Culprit" "Deadbeat Beatdown" "As Killer breathe" and "Feed them Bullets". 8 out of 10.
